Manuscrit pour Le Promeneur de Barcelone, Barcelone et Paris, été 1930

7 pp. autographes à l'encre noire sur 4 ff. in-4 lignés (270 x 210 mm), pagination partielle, daté "Barcelone-Paris, été 1930". Nombreuses ratures et corrections, plusieurs passages barrés.

Manuscrit autographe pour Le Promeneur de Barcelone, comprenant un long passage inédit, ainsi qu'un texte inédit sur le théâtre contemporain.
Le poème parut en février 1931 dans le numéro 128 des Cahiers du Sud, une revue de poésie, critique littéraire et philosophie. L'auteur apporte les dernières corrections au niveau du texte, remaniant entièrement la dernière strophe du poème et ajoutant des indications typographiques en vue de la publication du texte. Le texte du manuscrit correspond à la version publiée, et comprend un long passage inédit non retenu (p. 4), dont certaines phrases ont été remaniées dans la version finale, ainsi qu'un commentaire inédit de l'auteur sur le théâtre contemporain (p. 8) : "Il ne s'agit plus de faire le procès du théatre contemporain. C'est un fait avéré qu'on "s'ennuie au théâtre" et qu'il n'y a plus de spectacles possibles en dehors du cinéma - parlant, bien entendu - et de quelques programmes de music-hall."
