Un des 5 exemplaires sur Hollande, en demi-maroquin de Simier. La bibliothèque du comte de la Bédoyère comportait un exemplaire de cette édition, en demi-maroquin de Simier. Il est décrit de manière identique dans les deux catalogues, sauf pour la couleur du cuir, présenté comme rouge en 1837 (n°510), et vert en 1862 (n°857). Comme ce(s) dernier(s), le présent exemplaire présente une note manuscrite, qui indique notamment qu'il existe 5 exemplaires sur papier de Hollande. Il est aussi enrichi, en fin du t. I, de "vers qui terminent la partie du Roman de la rose faite par Guillaume de Lorris", imprimés sur papier de Hollande puis sur peau de vélin (8 pp.). Il comprend, enfin, la réimpression in-8 de l’article du Journal des Savans dans lequel M. Raynouard rend compte de cette édition. Il ne comporte cependant pas les dessins originaux décrits dans ces catalogues. Brunet, III, col. 1175-1176 ; Vicaire, III, col. 1161-1662 (parle de 2 exemplaires sur Hollande).
4 vol. in-4 (235 x 145 mm). Un des 5 exemplaires sur grand papier de Hollande. Au total 12 gravures, certaines étant des états différents d'une même planche. Reliure de l’époque de Simier (signée au pied du dos du t. I) : demi-maroquin bleu nuit avec à coins, dos à nerfs ornés, lettre dorée, doublure et garde de papier marbré. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
