Porcelain, polychrome painted, etched gilding, grisaille painting, leather, and velvet. Viennese shield mark in underglaze blue on the bottom, incised marks "3" and "N," and the painter's mark "I 30" (one below the other) and the inscription "Rosa" in brown under the pastry bowl. Porcelain in good condition. Case shows age-related signs of wear and tear; the original front lock is missing. The case fittings were made and replaced in 2020. Serving platter 35.5 x 23 cm, height of the pots 14.5 cm / 11.5 cm, height of the cups 5.5 cm, diameter of the saucers 13 cm, length of the pastry bowl 12.5 cm, case 14.5 x 37 x 26.5 cm.

A complete six-piece demitasse coffee service consisting of a lidded coffee pot, lidded milk jug, a demitasse coffee cup with saucer, small pastry bowl, and large curved shallow bowl with side handles.

Provenance: owned by Marqués de Benicarló, successor to the Marqués de Valdecarzana. Gift to Barón de Eroles a la Marquesa de Benicarló - Private owner, South Germany. Hampel, Auction 3 April 2020, lot 911.
