Further details
In the 1950s, under the government of Juan Domingo Perón, Argentina actively promoted the expansion of its national pharmaceutical industry and encouraged local laboratories to explore foreign markets as part of broader industrialization and export driven policies. According to the current owner, her grandfather led a commercial delegation to Beijing as the president of the Argentine Pharmaceutical Chamber for an approximately eight month journey through Europe and Asia. During their time in Beijing, they visited the renowned artist Qi Baishi and acquired several of his paintings directly—artworks that later became treasured possessions passed down to the current owner.
