First edition of Raffalovich's important contribution to the development of Uranian literature. The poems here draw on classical mythological figures like Ganymede and Adonis.
Octavo (190 x 123mm). Title printed in red and black, 8pp. of unopened ads at end (rear inner hinge just starting to crack). Original decorative cloth with beveled edges, front cover with a mask design blocked in black and lettered in red, this repeated on spine (upper joint cracking, spine darkened and lightly soiled, spine ends lightly abraded). Provenance: FMJ (small neat ink monogram on front free paper with library number B.426) – Iain Fletcher (later biro inscription in a neat hand on front free endpaper).
