The autograph letters and postcards include:
seven letters to the philosopher and editor of Cambridge Magazine, C.K. Ogden, writing in 1914-15 on publication in the Cambridge Magazine of his articles about the war including 'Au-dessus de la mêlée'/'Above the Battlefield' and protesting strongly about the manipulation of one of his articles, in 1916 denying that he is a member of a German-supporting association, and in 1919, enclosing typescript English translation of his article 'G.F. Nicolai: A Great European', the typescript still present;
five letters and cards to the furniture designer and political activist Francis Jourdain, writing on 13 May 1932 and 15 June 1933 to protest against Jourdain's unauthorised use of his name in an appeal for the defence of the USSR, which he judges too melodramatic, and a declaration against the Greek government; and on 18 August and 11 December 1933, about their campaign against the Reichstag Fire Trial, 'tous pour Dimitroff, Torgler et les deux autres accusés', and other campaigns, 'Je vous engage à demander à Gide de rédiger l'appel pour les Indo-Chinois'.

Peters music publishers (1934, ordering music), 'camarade Vari' (1937), Renaud de Jouvenel (1939), Alfred Wolfenstein (16 May 1942, 'Je n'ai pas bougé d'ici, depuis trois ans, sauf pour de courts séjours à Paris', and on his current work);
letters to unidentified correspondents discussing matters relating to publication of articles, proof corrections (including for a work on Stendhal, 1913, including an extensive list of corrections), in 1930 declining to pass judgement on Americans, in 1931 on the American publication of his article 'Broaden Europe, or Die!', in 1932 on his appeal on behalf of China during the Japanese invasion, and on other matters.
The two autograph manuscripts comprise a list of writings by Mahatma Gandhi, up to 1922, and a brief text beginning 'La question de l'Education nouvelle ...', April 1928.

After confirming your email address, enter your personal information in your user profile, such as your first name, last name, and mail address. Choose a lot from the upcoming auction and the maximum amount you want to place on it. After confirmation of your choice, we will send your application by e-mail to the appropriate auction house. If the auction house accepts a request, it will participate in the auction. You can view the current status of a bid at any time in your personal account in the "Bids" section.
Auctions are performed by auction houses and each of the auction houses describes their terms of auction. You can see the texts in the section "Auction information".
The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
