Opera di M. Bartolomeo Scappi, cuoco secreto di papa Pio Quinto...Venise : Alessandro Vecchi, 1605.
[relié avec : ] Il Trinciante di M. Vincenzo Cervio. Venise : Alessandro Vecchi, 1604.
Vicaire, 159-160 et 773-774 ; Krohn, Deborah L. “Carving and Folding by the Book in Early Modern Europe.” Journal of Early Modern History, vol. 24, n° 1, Janvier 2020, pp. 17-40.
First collective edition, printed by Alessandro Vecchi, gathering Scappi’s Opera with a new title page announcing the inclusion of Il Trinciante by Cervio and other texts. The copy is in its contemporary vellum binding.
