Seltener Meissen Walzenkrug mit Gelbfond und Kakiemondekor Zylindrische Form mit kapuzinerbrauner Kontur und seitlichem Ohrenhenkel. Auf der Wandung flächendeckender Gelbfond mit Kakiemondekor. Aus zwei Reisigbündeln emporwachsende Farne und weit verzweigte Päonienblüten. Auf einem Rasenstück im Inselstil stehendes Vogelpaar mit farbenprächtigem Gefieder. Fliegender Schmetterling und Insekt. Polychrome Malerei, wohl von Adam Friedrich von Löwenfinck oder Umkreis. Später montierter, Silber, teilw. vergoldeter Scharnierdeckel mit umlaufender Hochzeitsinschrift von "Christoph Hans von Egidy d. 8. April 1798. Friderike Wilhelmine von Schleinitz". Pressziffer 6. Minim. best./ber.; Minim. rest.; Unglasierter Boden mit purpurfarbener Schwertermarke. Ges.-H. 13 cm.
Löwenfinck schied 1736 aufgrund von Zwistigkeiten mit seinem Lehrmeister Hoeroldt aus der Manufaktur aus und arbeitete fortan für verschiedene Fayencemanufakturen. Die phantasievollen Fabelwesen gehören zu seinen bekanntesten Sujets. Eine ihm zugeschriebene Vasen-Kollektion mit Gelbfond und Vogeldekor aus der Zeit um 1730 zählt wegen der naiven Malerei als Frühwerk. Den Kakiemondekor mit Reisstrohhecke und Päonien wiederholt Löwenfinck bei einem um 1736/37 entstandenen Fayence-Walzenkrug aus Bayreuth.

A rare yellow-ground porcelain tankard painted with Kakiemon decor probably by A. F. von Löwenfinck. Later silver-gilt mounting with inscription from Chr. H. von Egidy und F. W. von Schleinitz. Minor chipped/rubbed. Minor restored. Unglazed bottom with purple crossed swords mark.
