Grinker Sr (1900-1993) had analysis with Freud between 1933 and 1935, the sessions being paid for through an academic grant from the Rockefeller Foundation: he published a vivid brief description of the experience, 'Reminiscences of a personal contact with Freud' (American Journal of Orthopsychiatry, 10(4), 850–854).
