Deuxième édition, la première imprimée en Italie, de ces oeuvres de Thomas d'Aquin. Les bibliographes considèrent en effet qu'une édition non datée, imprimée aux Pays-Bas, devance celle-ci. L'exemplaire présente l'erreur de date au colophon.

In-folio (275 x 196 mm). L'exemplaire est daté "MCCCLXXXVIII" au colophon, comme c'est parfois le cas. Vélin rigide ancien postérieur (manque un feuillet blanc au premier cahier, mouillures marginales au premier et au dernier cahiers, quelques rousseurs, rogné un peu court).
Provenance : en marge supérieure du premier feuillet, marque de provenance ancienne partiellement rognée: "Ad usum fr[atr]is Nicolai de Zippa...sancte Marie Co[n]solationis" -- couvent des carmes de Rennes (cachet à l'encre violette en marge du premier feuillet "Prior. Conventus. Carm. Disc. Rhedonensis").

Probable second edition and first Italian edition of most of these philosophical and theological works, some now known to be spurious. An undated edition of the same compilation plus a few additional works, printed in the Southern Netherlands but of uncertain attribution, is usually given priority. This copy with the "C" omitted from the date in the colophon.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
