2 parts in one volume, 4to (282 x 208mm). Half-titles, frontispiece to the first volume with full-page engraved portrait of the author, title with engraved vignette representing monuments and symbols of Rome, 63 full-page engravings, one of which folding, a large-format folding map, engraved headpieces (occasional light foxing and browning, Z4-2A1 at the end of the first part with lower corner repaired without losses, without blank 2E4). Modern vellum with gilt armorial crest on the covers and gilt spine with brown and green label, yellow edges; preserved in a modern decorated paper case.
