Superbe exemplaire, imprimé sur peau de vélin, avec pages de titre manuscrites à l'or, dans d'élégantes reliures du début du XIXe siècle. Selon toute vraisemblance, ce tirage est en fait une réimpression, en deux volumes, du tome XI de l'édition de Kehl, avec l'ajout d'un épilogue. Van Praet et Bengesco indiquent que trente exemplaires ont été tirés sur peau de vélin. Les figures de Moreau le Jeune sont ici avant la lettre, en tout premier tirage. 2 vol. in-4 (245 x 170 mm). Vraisemblablement l'un des 30 exemplaires tirés sur peau de vélin. Les pages de titre originelles ont été remplacées par deux titres manuscrits, à l'or, avec fleurons dessinés figurant les armes de France et de Jeanne d'Arc. 4 portraits gravés (Jeanne d'Arc, le comte de Dunois, Charles VII, Agnès Sorel [orthographié Sorelle]), 21 planches, ici avant la lettre, introduisant chacun des chants, par Moreau le jeune, et dans le second volume, une autre épreuve du portrait de Jeanne d'Arc, tirée sur papier.
Reliure du début du XIXe siècle en maroquin rouge à long grain, plats encadrés de frises de pampres avec fleurs de lys aux angles, dos lisse richement orné, gardes de papier marbré, tranches dorées. Les lys pourraient avoir été appliqués postérieurement, peut-être à la Restauration. Provenance : une note manuscrite, contrecollée dans le premier volume, donne quelques indications de provenance : "ce beau livre a été originairement [sic] acheté à la vente de Chardin". "Simier père, relieur" l'aurait ensuite acheté à la vente Durier (Lille, 31 janvier 1828, lot n°2375). L'auteur de la note l'aurait alors acquis le "1er février suivant [1828]". Il passe ensuite dans la collection de Rudolf Gutmann (Sotheby's Londres, 2 avril 1993, lot n°102).

First of all, you should register to be able to purchase at auction. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
