"Pour le frontispice, Zao Wou-Ki grave une eau-forte unique dans son oeuvre : il transpose en gravure une aquarelle de 1948 de Michaux que ce dernier lui avait offerte. Ce travail d'interprétation est d'une totale fidélité, d'autant qu'il lui a fallu graver la plaque de métal en inversant la composition. Ce geste est bien évidemment un nouveau témoignage de l'amitié et de l'admiration qu'il a pour Henri Michaux. La seconde gravure en couleurs, en fin d'ouvrage, s'inspire d'une des aquarelles contemporaines de Zao Wou-Ki." (Zao Wou-Ki et les poètes, p. 214-221).

In-4 (344 x 304 mm). Tirage limité à 130 exemplaires, celui-ci l'un des 100 sur vélin BFK Rives pour les membres et la bibliothèque de la Compagnie, n° 77, exemplaire nominatif de Claude Broquisse. Illustré de 7 eaux-fortes et aquatintes de Zao Wou-Ki, dont 2 en couleurs. Enrichi de l'une des 20 suites sur vélin Zerkall comprenant les 7 gravures, toutes numérotées "14/20" et signées par l'artiste. Reliure signée de Richard : box prune, titre et nom de l'artiste en jeu de miroir et lettres dorées et argentées au premier plat, nom de l'auteur évidé sur fond de box ivoire, composition mosaïquée de languettes de box amande, cerise et corail traversées d'un filet argenté vertical sur les plats, doublure et gardes de box mastic. Sous chemise et étui. (infimes frottements sur la reliure).

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
