Andreas Golder

Andreas Golder is a German painter and sculptor originally from Russia.

He studied at Berlin University of the Arts and lives and works in Berlin. His work attracts attention with disfigured, often grotesque and violent figurative images that convey the expressive directness and dark humor associated with his personality. In his work, Golder deals with the eternal themes of painting--love, suffering, decay, blood... The artist's object is a condition, an emotion, a silly idea, a bad joke, therapy, whatever.
