Franz Thomas Weber

Franz Thomas Weber was a German painter, printmaker and etching artist.

Weber painted seascapes with ships, historical costume sketches, and cityscapes of his native Augsburg. His drawings and engravings are a special testament to Augsburg's history. Weber created a voluminous cycle devoted to buildings and views of Augsburg between 1818 and 1820.
