Hervé van der Straeten
Hervé Van der Straeten is a French designer, creator of furniture, lighting, mirrors. Trained at the School of Fine Arts in Paris in the painting section, he created jewelry items from 1985. He then extended his production to creations of furniture, lighting and mirrors. Alongside his own collections, he is the creator of the J'adore bottle by Dior, the design of Kiss Kiss lipsticks by Guerlain, and the Excess series by the Cristallerie de Saint-Louis. He has also produced pieces of furniture for the Roger Vivier boutiques. He counts among his clients the French National Furniture, Steven Spielberg and Madonna. In 2007, Hervé Van der Straeten received the Living Heritage Company label from the Ministry of Culture and in 2008 was named Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters. Since 1999, he has run a gallery in the Marais district of Paris, where some of his creations are exhibited.
