Horst Kuhnert

Horst Kuhnert is a German painter and sculptor who lives and works in Stuttgart.

He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, 1963 was the decisive year when Kuhnert switched his interest from abstract painting to sculpture and began using alabaster as a material. Later, he was one of the first in Germany to work with polyester plastic. The artist uses polyester in his Raumflächen bas-relief and Raumkörper sculpture.

Horst Kuhnert is a member of the German Artists Association and the Baden-Württemberg Artists Association. His work has been presented in many international exhibitions and is located in public spaces.
