John Verelst

Johannes Verelst was a Dutch painter of the Dutch Golden Age and a member of The Hague Guild of St. Luke. He was the youngest son and pupil of the painter Pieter Verelst, who started an entire dynasty of painters. The brothers Simon and Hermann Verelst were also painters. Johannes created allegorical images, portraits and still lifes.
