Auguste Ludwig
Auguste Ludwig was a German painter of the last third of the 19th century. She is known as a painter, graphic artist, representative of the Düsseldorf School.
Auguste Ludwig specialized in portraits, genre paintings, sometimes wrote landscapes. She was particularly interested in children, and she created a number of paintings depicting happy children, imitating the behavior of adults. Among her famous works are "Children's Wedding", "Family Fun", "The Trial of Paris", "Children and Kittens".
