Felix Schlenker
Felix Schlenker, also Felix Schlenker Mauch is a German painter and graphic designer and collector.
Virtually self-taught, he devoted himself to graphics and images with a clear optical didacticism and the most economical use of color. Schlenker created monochrome panels, murals inspired by Paul Klee, material, nails and his Gsiachter paintings. And in this art he struck with materials when he created eyes out of tea lights, corks, trouser buttons or records.
Schlenker collected an extensive bundle of works by artist friends, which he exhibited in the city library and donated to the city of Fillingen-Schwenningen. He was an exhibition organizer, an initiator, a valuable consultant due to his experience, but above all, of course, an artist.
