János Vaszary
János Vaszary, full name János Miklós Vaszary, was a Hungarian painter and graphic artist.
János began studying art at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, continued in Munich, then at the Académie Julian in Paris. During World War I, Vasari worked on the Serbian front as a correspondent and painted realistic paintings on military subjects before returning to impressionism. His overall style was always heavily influenced by French Art Nouveau. For more than a decade Vaszary taught at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts.
