Christian Richter
Christian Richter was a German painter of the first half of the 17th century. He is known as a painter and graphic artist, landscape and portrait painter, a member of the Saxon dynasty of Richter painters and architects.
Richter imitated the old style of Lucas Cranach and other sixteenth-century German artists. One of the most indicative of his work is Portrait of a Young Lady in a Hat with Feathers. The work of the artist attracted the attention of art historians in the late XX century, about his painting "The Washing of Neeman in the Jordan" published a collective collection, then on its basis was made a TV movie.
