Emil Otto Grundmann
Emil Otto Grundmann was a German-born American painter of the second half of the nineteenth century. He is known as a painter and teacher.
Grundmann became a renowned artist after moving from Germany to America. There, in addition to creative work, he was engaged in teaching - he was the first director of the school of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. The master worked mainly in the genre of portraiture, but also depicted domestic scenes and created interiors.
