Vladimir Alexandrovich Gorb (Russian: Влади́мир Алекса́ндрович Го́рб) was a Soviet artist. He is known as a painter, graphic artist and teacher.
Vladimir Gorb painted portraits, landscapes, genre compositions, still lifes. He worked in the technique of oil painting, watercolor, pencil drawing. In the first two decades of his career, the artist was famous for portraits of contemporaries, including famous figures of science and art. These works were distinguished by the laconism of expressive means, the depth of conveyance of the character of the model. During the last four decades Gorb worked a lot in the genre of landscape and still life. At the same time for more than half a century the artist was engaged in pedagogical activity.
