Candida Höfer is a German photographer. She is a former student of Bernd and Hilla Becher. Like other Becher students, Höfer's work is known for technical perfection and a strictly conceptual approach. From 1997 to 2000, she taught as professor at the Hochschule für Gestaltung, Karlsruhe. Höfer is the recipient of the 2018 Outstanding Contribution to Photography award, as part of the Sony World Photography awards. She is based in Cologne.

I am a dedicated artist and involved in the current cultural activity, with a dynamic experience, polished in the artistic centers of Chisinau, Cluj, Iasi and Bucharest. Through personal and group exhibitions organized in recent years, I have proposed to the public more and more fresh works connected to the development and the level of contemporary society. Through a pictorial approach built on solid exercises, developed from the formal tradition to formal creation, I have outlined a sensitive message that tenaciously affirms its own artistic creed.
I generally practice abstract painting, sometimes introduce figurative elements. The preferred material is oil or acrylic on canvas or paper.
Painting is an expression of freedom, it is the way to be, it is the moment when time stops, the escape and the connection to the fluid course of some energies becomes the act of appearance and conception of the image.

Since 2012 - Member of National Unity of Georgian Artists.Born in 1970, September 7th I was raised in Gori, Georgia. My passion for drawing since childhood has turned into a search path for my whole life. The basics of professionalism were given to me by studying at the M. Tuganov Professional Art School (1984-1984), now occupied by the territory of Georgia, in the city of Tskhinvali (South Ossetian Autonomous Republic). I have been painting professionally for over 30 years. After graduating from college, which also taught me culture, discipline and a certain technique, it was difficult to get out of the technique of academic drawing. This haunted me in my life for another 11 years. All this time I was in shackles, limiting the freedom of my thoughts and creative direction. All this was influenced by the war in South Ossetia, in Abkhazia, which for many centuries of Georgia's existence was a single land for all nations living on the territory of Georgia as one single family.
Trying the technique of drawing in different ways and colors, I managed to free myself from the shackles, radically changing my thinking, method and style of drawing. In 2017, in the composition of some of my paintings on canvas, I added different varieties of wine and watercolors as a background for transparency, quartz sand to obtain a grainy texture, followed by finishing with acrylics. ... Horizontal, vertical lines, roundness and perspective sometimes complement some of my paintings. My paintings are like a calendar of my mood, dreams, feelings, a passion to break free for light, for freedom, which can be seen in the creative process of each of my subsequent paintings. Silently expressing on the canvas step by step what I could not just say in words, thereby leaving the opportunity for any visitor to easily read the meaning of the picture, even with mixed technique and style. Я, Юлия Лихина, родилась в Харькове, Первой столице Украины, 10 ноября 1984 года. Была очень непоседным и упертым ребенком, постоянно меня носило где-то. Мама смотрела на меня, и хоть как ни будь меня угомонить, показала и научила рисовать в 3 года. Мои первые полотна - это стены, полы и мебель в доме. Потом изостудия в 5 лет и в художественная школа (1994-1999), которую закончила с отличием. И это дало мне двигаться дальше, так как дальше не представляла себя без красок и искусства.
Образование
Так же с отличием закончила Харьковское Художественное Училище в 2007, факультет художник –живописец преподаватель.
Хоть и закончила учёбу, но работать по специальности не хотела, не видела себя училкой в школе, это точно не моё.
Когда училась в училище иногда рисовала картины на заказ, и один раз меня друг попросил написать несколько картин из фильма, на что сначала удивилась , а потом очень заинтересовалась, и попёрло меня с того момента. Даже диплом писала и брала основы с фильма. Кино я обожаю, смотрю их с детства и сейчас все новинки не пропускаю, особенно выделяю жанры: биография, триллер, криминал, детектив, комедия, история, спорт, драма и мелодрама.
Когда закончила учебу, вышла замуж, потом дети погодки, не до картин было, пыталась рисовать, но малышня не давала, мешали.
В декрете освоили сетевой маркетинг и когда работала в интернете, видела, как многие художники рисуют и продают свои картины, даже зависть где-то появилась, типа, а чем я хуже. Очень долго решалась начинать рисовать, если бы не родственники и друзья, которые дали мне пинок под зад…)))

I love colors, I love paint, and I love canvas, white canvas. I like even prepare a canvas for painting, I just love to be an artist.
I feel my self so liberated when creating art. First, because I can produce something that is influence on human’s mood or state of mind, and second because I can escape this reality. And I like this feeling.
My paintings have been sold for years to offices, shops and private residences in Canada, Australia, USA, Europe etc. Up until now in 18 countries.
Дмитрий Матковский — художник-синестет. В психологии существует понятие «синестезии», особого способа восприятия действительности, когда информация, полученная определёнными органами чувств, приобретает дополнительное качественное значение. Дмитрий Матковский, в свою очередь, имеет «цветовой слух». Художник воспринимает звуки через цвет, а свои работы называет «музыкой на холсте».
Убедиться в особенности своих ощущений автору выпал шанс довольно рано: его школьная группа, «Мануфактура», стала победителем первого Ленинградского Рок-фестиваля, после чего он 10 лет играл в составе «АукцЫона»
Оказавшись в Канаде в 2001 г. ДМ полностью отдался миру живописи. 10 лет жизни в Сев. Америке оформили его как профессионала в области изобразительного искусства, заставили говорить о нем в мире галерейного бизнеса. За это время Более 240 работ ДМ были куплены частными коллекционерами и музеями Америки, Европы и Японии.
В настоящий момент Дмитрий Матковский живет в СПб и продолжает заниматься живописью, 3D анимацией, дизайном, музыкой, йогой, а также публицистическим творчеством.
