Inspired by great masters as Vrubel and Monet, Van Lanigh creates figurative and landscape pieces. Her unique style is a reaction to abstractionism in an attempt to capture surrealistic yet casual reality. This is especially underlined by new forms and materials used in Van Lanigh’s artworks aimed to achieve the viewer’s resonance between visual effect and message of the painting.
One of her experiments is getting Pointillism into 3D space by making a series of human-face sculptures with small colorful handcrafted polymer clay balls.

Меня зовут Александра Федорук. Живу и работаю в городе Киев. Детство и юношество прошло в городе Переяслав-хмельницком(город музеев). Это место с богатой историей, насыщенной красотой природы и спокойной атмосферой не могло не повлиять на моё творчество. Ещё с раннего возраста у меня появилась любовь к рисованию. С 7 до 18 лет я училась в художественной школе. После окончила Национальную Академию Искусств в городе Киеве, факультет реставрация живописи. Профиль реставрация я выбрала неслучайно, а потому что хотела не просто усовершенствовать навыки живописи, а понимать глубину техник, композиции, химические, физические свойства материалов, уметь анализировать и исследовать произведения искусства, их символику и загадки. На базе огромных знаний реставратора-художника я создаю свои картины. В моём понимании процесс сотворения творческого продукта, будь то картина или литературное произведение, не заканчивается процессом творения.
В данный момент я работаю реставратором монументальной живописи в Национальном заповеднике «София Киевская». Работаю и изучаю древние произведения искусства и архитектуры 11-19 века.
В процессе моего творческого развития меня вдохновляли разные мастера живописи, скульпторы, архитекторы, одними из которых были Феофан Грек, Блэк, Гоген, Бэкон, Михаил Врубель.
Моими учителями являлись мастера знаний художественных техник, материалов и выдающиеся реставраторы, но они не являлись художниками. Возможность изучать и огромное желание рисовать позволило мне расширить мои инструменты и сформировать индивидуальный способ выражения в виде графики, живописи, фото и скульптуры. Для создания произведений я использую разные материалы, применяю разные секреты., что и делает мои картины уникальными. На поиски подходящих материалов все только начинается. Значительную весомость картины приобретают благодаря наполненности символами, что гармонично сочетается с женскими и мужскими образами.

I have been an artist from an early age. Dad's sketchbook was the greatest treasure. Then I had not dreamed of writing yet
oil. A large set of watercolors in a white plastic box was often secretly taken from the shelf for my
naive art. The thick squirrel brush gave an unforgettable tactile sensation.
But I was able to forget about it "becoming an adult".
I am grateful to the people who helped me return everything. At some point, I realized that I couldn’t stop it. The same set of watercolors, already replenished with new shades. It
became my frequent joy. And oil painting is my discovery and a way to restore connection with my family and father.

Меня зовут Алексей Быков. Я являюсь скульптором, преимущественно работаю с деревом. Мои работы находятся в частных коллекциях России, США, Великобритании, Европы и Китая. Периодически участвую в местных и международных выставках и симпозиумах.
Для своих работ я выбрал дерево как теплый, естественный и живой материал. Дерево мне подсказывает скульптурные формы своим рисунком и пластичностью формы. Естественность природной красоты людей и животных — вот моя цель, воплощенная в дереве.
Alexey Bykov was born in Almaty Kazakhstan in 1976.
In 1995-99 while studying at the University named after Abai he took classes on sculpture and human anatomy from the professor of arts and prominent soviet sculptor Juravlev Nikolay Stepanovich.
To manifest the abundance and beauty of the world Bykov has chosen wood as a basic material used for his sculptures for its fullness of life, natural warmth and grace. Wood itself guides him during the creation process with its pattern and form which he aims to reveal and emphasize in his sculptures.
Though hardwood species are the sculptor's favorite material he works with plaster as well. In 2000s he created a series of portraits of famous actors in this material.
Influenced by the classic school and folk art, Bykov manages to develop his own style where classic shapes melt into exaggerated forms smoothly flowing one into another achieving a natural harmoniously accomplished look.
From 1995 till nowadays Alexey Bykov took part in a range of local international exhibitions and symposiums.
His works are in private collections of Russia, USA, Great Britain, Spain and China.
