how great the temptation was to compete with Klimt and make some version of Adele Bloch-Bauer in her masculine form!Adele is beautiful for me as an artist...this universal Jewish sadness always fascinated me in my eyes. I could not still find among women and men a consonant image of Adele Bloch-Bauer and suddenly I saw the perfect Model and could not resist.. Of course I do not "quote" Klimt, it is rather an association with his Judith and Salome.
