Kukryniksy — the creative team of Soviet graphic artists and painters, which included full member AH the USSR (1947), people's artists of the USSR (1958), hero of Socialist Labor Mikhail Kupriyanov (1903-1991), Porfiry Krylov (1902-1990) and Nikolai Sokolov (1903-2000).

Alias "Kukryniksy" is composed of the first syllables of the names Kupriyanov and Krylov, as well as the first three letters of the name and the first letter of the name of Nikolai Sokolov. A similar example of Assembly alias is the alias of the creative team of Soviet writers "Gready of Corporex".

Three artists worked by the method of collective work (each also worked individually on portraits and landscapes). The greatest popularity brought them many expertly executed cartoons and caricatures, and book illustrations, created in a characteristic caricature style.
