Manifeste du surréalisme. Poisson soluble. Paris : éditions du Sagittaire – chez Simon Kra, 1924.
L'acte fondateur du surréalisme, relié par le "premier relieur surréaliste" : exemplaire de René Char, sur pur fil Lafuma, avec envoi de Breton et relié pour Char par Paul Bonet. Figurent dans cet ouvrage "une théorie de l'écriture automatique et un salut nuancé aux révélations du freudisme : comment enrichir le réel par l'apport de tout l'inconscient habituellement ignoré ou refoulé, et constituer ainsi une surréalité, tel est le propos, qu'illustrent les trente-deux textes automatiques de Poisson soluble...Le Manifeste de 1924 constitue un texte à la fois minimal et liminal pour toute théorie et toute pratique surréalistes" (En français dans le texte, BnF, 1990, n°354, notice de Patrick Berthier). Sur le faux-titre, envoi autographe signé d’André Breton : “à René Char, ce rapporteur ancien modèle de la courbure (qui va s’accentuant) de la terre et sur lequel, depuis, m’est apparu son nom au suprême degré. André Breton”.
In-8 (188 x 119 mm). Édition originale. Un des 19 exemplaires de tête sur papier pur fil Lafuma (seul grand papier), celui-ci le n°6. Reliure signée de Paul Bonet : demi-maroquin ébène à bande, plats ornés d’une large bande verticale de papier noir, le plat supérieur avec riche décor : titre mosaïqué de box rouge et vert, décor doré (étoiles, filets courbes, visage féminin, papillons), dos lisse orné du nom de l’auteur, du titre et de la date en lettres d’or, gardes de papier ciré noir, couverture et dos conservés, tête dorée sur témoins. Chemise et étui assortis par Devauchelle (quelques taches à la couverture).

A precious copy, one of the 19 on Lafuma (the only deluxe copies of the edition), inscribed by Breton to René Char and bound for the latter by Paul Bonet.

Choose a lot from the upcoming auction and the maximum amount you want to place on it. After confirmation of your choice, we will send your application by e-mail to the appropriate auction house. If the auction house accepts a request, it will participate in the auction. You can view the current status of a bid at any time in your personal account in the "Bids" section.
Auctions are performed by auction houses and each of the auction houses describes their terms of auction. You can see the texts in the section "Auction information".
The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
