« Devant la prison des poètes non-conformistes, une guillotine et, sur la pissotière, un poète tire sur le bourreau. A gauche, un poète (André Breton) détourne l’attention d’un flic et sur les deux autres, au fond, un baromètre et un plan de Paris ? Pour que les flics servent à quelque chose. L’horloge marque l’heure de l’exécution. Les femmes nues avec mitrailleuses sont les femmes des poètes qui les défendent… et peu babillées car c’est au saut du lit (5 heures du matin !). Le pape Pie X avec les épaules en forme d’éteignoir est posé sur le gland du monument qui porte l’inscription « à la mémoire de Sade ». »
‘In front of the prison for non-conformist poets, there is a guillotine and, standing on the public urinal a poet shoots the executioner. On the left, a poet (André Breton) distracts a cop and on the other two, in the background, there is a barometer and a map of Paris? So that the cops are given a purpose. The clock shows the time of execution. The naked women with machine guns are the poets’ wives who are defending them... and they do not babble much because it is just after getting out of bed (5 o'clock in the morning!). Pope Pius X, with his shoulders in the shape of a candle snuffer, rests on the monument’s tassel that bears the inscription “in memory of Sade”.'
