Exemplaire en reliure de l'époque. Cet ouvrage pornographique, généralement attribué à Jean-Charles Gervaise de Latouche, avocat au Parlement de Paris, parut pour la première fois en 1741. Succès de librairie, il fut réédité à de nombreuses reprises, sous des titres différents. Ici, le Gouberdom éponyme est bien évidemment l’anagramme de Dom Bougre, dont le nom apparaît d’ailleurs en fin d’ouvrage. Son histoire est ici est augmentée d'un poème intitulé "Félicités éternelles", et de deux pièces en vers ("On baise la mule du Pape", et le "Chapitre général des Cordeliers").
Cohen-de Ricci, col. 431, évoque une édition à la même adresse grenobloise, mais dont la pagination se suit, ce qui n’est pas le cas de celle-ci ; Pia, Enfer, col. 620-621 ; The Private case, n°799 (évoque bien 1 frontispice + 20 planches, tirées en sanguine, avec un titre gravé portant l’adresse de Grenoble, comme ici) ; Dutel A-522 ; Gay-Lemonnyer, II, col. 497.

Reliure de l'époque : veau moucheté de l’époque, dos lisse orné, pièce de titre et tomaison de maroquin vert, gardes de papier décoré, tranches ornées (quelques frottements, un coin restauré).

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
