« Nous, c'est-à-dire Pegeen et moi. Elle est ravissante, blonde, [...] . (in P. Dagen, Hélion, Paris, 2004, p. 159)
“We, that is to say Pegeen and me. She is beautiful, blonde, [...] . She was raised mostly in Megève. I fell madly in love with her and married her. [...] I have the impression of being delivered from a nightmare, of having returned to my youth and to freedom. I am very happy." - Letter from Jean Hélion to his first son, Jean-Jacques, March 20th, 1945 (in P. Dagen, Hélion, Paris, 2004, p. 159)
