Sublime lettre de Mallarmé expliquant sa propre conception de la poésie et du roman à l'écrivain J.-H. Rosny : "Ici commence le Poëme, que notre gloire serait de dégager peu à peu de tous les genres littéraires qui l'obscurcissent encore et, comme vous le faites, de laver à grandes eaux supérieures."
Mallarmé écrit à l'auteur franco-belge J.-H. Rosny (1856-1940) et le félicite pour son dernier roman, Les Corneilles. Louant l'inventivité de ses livres, Mallarmé expose au passage ses ambitions littéraires : "J'avais songé, devant Les Corneilles, en fermant la Revue Indépendante ; et le même flux d'impressions, net et fort, me revient à la lecture du volume, que vous avez la bonté de m'envoyer. Cette oeuvre ne tient plus au roman que par le récit : je crois que ce mode primitif de lier la série de nos pensées, nous le secouerons même !"
Il fustige les écrivains contemporains, aspirant à révolutionner la poésie : "Mais ce que vous reniez déjà magnifiquement, c'est le déplorable effort moderne à tout ramener à un moyen terme de vision, peu miraculeux pour les gens, [...] lequel fait de nos maîtres romanciers des reporters de génie simplement. Vous êtes bien impersonnel, mais au nom de la lueur fondante ou aiguë de la vie, à quelle hauteur sitée !, au point que tout ensemble de faits baignés par elle s'y épanouit délicieusement, comme les lacs de brise et de ciel d'une fin de jour, et les réservoirs de toute rêverie."

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
