Édition originale, en latin, de cet incunable illustré de 1809 gravures sur bois. L'ouvrage entend raconter l'histoire du monde de la Genèse à 1493, offrant au passage de nombreuses vues de villes européennes. In-folio (432 x 304 mm). Texte en latin. 324 feuillets, plus le feuillet CCLXI en fac-similé. Titre, [19] ff. "tabula operis", ff. I-CCXCIX, [1] f. (r. carte, v. colophon), [5] ff. "De Sarmacia regione Europe". Les feuillets 259 à 261 sont blancs, à part une ligne d'en-tête, et le feuillet 261 a été remplacé par un fac-similé sur papier Whatman, filigrane 1816. Illustré de 1809 gravures utilisant 645 bois (d'après le compte de Cockrell). Initiale ornée de feuillage aux encres rouge, bleue, jaune et verte ouvrant le texte, initiales en rouge ou bleu dans la table, majuscules rehaussées de rouge dans le reste du volume. (titre coupé et contrecollé sur un feuillet réglé aux encres rouge et brune, deuxième et troisième feuillets de table restaurés en marge, petit manque en marge inférieur du sixième feuillet de table, déchirure en pied du douzième feuillet de table, restauration en marge du feuillet XCV, coin du feuillet CIX restauré avec gravures reprise à l'encre, tache et traces de colle au feuillet CLXIX affectant le paragraphe sur la papesse Jeanne, autrefois censuré, et la gravure l'accompagnant, déchirure marginal réparée au feuillet CCXXIII, quatre mots cancellés à l'encre au feuillet CCXXXII, feuillet CCLXI en fac-similé, carte de l'Europe tachée et entièrement réenmargée, renforcée sur deux tiers du second feuillet, cette restauration n'affectant pas le colophon, déchirures et restaurations marginales, taches et salissures éparses). Reliure du XIXe siècle : veau estampé à froid sur hais de bois (dos refait, reliure très frottée et griffée avec manques de cuir, charnières frottées et fendues en partie supérieure, coiffes et coins abimés, coiffe supérieure arrachée).

Choose a lot from the upcoming auction and the maximum amount you want to place on it. After confirmation of your choice, we will send your application by e-mail to the appropriate auction house. If the auction house accepts a request, it will participate in the auction. You can view the current status of a bid at any time in your personal account in the "Bids" section.
Auctions are performed by auction houses and each of the auction houses describes their terms of auction. You can see the texts in the section "Auction information".
The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
