A pair of hanging scrolls, ink on patterned paper
Each scroll measures 132 x 20.5 cm. (52 x 8 1/8 in.)
Signed, with two seals of the artist

NOTE:
Tan Zekai, courtesy name Zu-tong, Tien Chien and Tien Si Gai, was a native of Chaling in the Hunan Province. He was the younger brother of Tan Yanjian, and was a master of calligraphy. Tan specialised in regular script, and had an extensive collection of masterpieces of Qing Dynasty calligraphers.
