Giuseppe Rusconi
Giuseppe Rusconi was a Swiss sculptor. He was a pupil of the Swiss-Italian sculptor Camillo Rusconi, who died suddenly and from whom he inherited both the workshop and the orders, even though he was probably not his nephew. In the National Palace of Mafra, a grandiose monastery in the Portuguese city of Mafra, two statues of founding saints of religious orders, destined for the atrium, are attributed to Giuseppe Rusconi.
