Харитонов Игорь Владимирович родился в 1966 году в Венгрии г.Будапешт.Учился на Украине в г.Одесса в Художественной школе имени Костанди, на Художественно-графическом факультете Педагогического института, затем перевелся на факультет "Станковая живопись" в Художественно-Промышленном институте г. Харькова (Украина).
В 1986 году выполнил первую работу по дизайну интерьера, кафе для военнослужащих, выполнил там роспись потолка, лепные работы. С тех пор выполнено множество работ в области живописи.
В 1989 приступил к работе на Одесской киностудии в качестве художника-оформителя, художника-декоратора, художника-постановщика (картины «Любовь» по Ю.Олеше, «Невеста дьявола»).
С этого момента начинается поиск своего собственного мироощущения. Длительные занятия медитацией, восточными боевыми искусствами, тайцзи-цюань, целительством, музыкой, поэзией выразились не в формальном подражании востоку, а в попытке передать состояние внутреннего тепла через привычные образы.
В это время его работы приобретают любители живописи в Голландии, США, Израиле, России, Украине и пр.

С 2003 по 2005 год работал в Москве над созданием мьюзикла «Маугли» по роману Р.Киплинга. Написал либретто и создал эскизы декораций.
