«Год Достоевского» картина названа в честь знаменательной даты для нашего сибирского города. Юбилей со дня смерти М.Ф.Достоевского.
В данной работе я хотела передать тяжесть каторжной жизни в Омском остроге. Тяжелый труд и угнетающая эмоциональная боль от заключения под стражей. Ужасные условия жизни, голод и лишение многих простых радостей жизни. Это ужасное время и очень серое, безрадостное.
Композиция работы имеет форму креста , в образе фигуры видна усталость и отчаянье, а впереди еще долгий путь.
Работа была выставлена на региональной выставке Год Достоевского и добавлена в крупный каталог работ приуроченный к этой дате.

In this work, I wanted to convey the severity of hard labor in the Omsk prison. Hard work and the oppressive emotional pain of incarceration. Terrible living conditions, hunger and deprivation of many simple joys of life. This is a terrible time and very gray, joyless.
The composition of the work has the shape of a cross, fatigue and despair are visible in the image of the figure, and there is still a long way ahead.
The work was exhibited at the regional exhibition The Year of Dostoevsky and added to a large catalog of works dedicated to this date.
