Peter Emil Recher

Peter Emil Recher was a German painter of the first half of the 20th century. He is known as a painter famous for his Impressionist landscape paintings.

Recher painted many landscapes depicting the Alpine mountains of Switzerland and Bavaria. His oeuvre spans a period of work in Berlin, Munich and study tours in Western Europe, Southern Europe and North Africa. For three years he lived in Lisbon, where he practiced as a professor.
