We present you with this exquisite large bust of a beautiful young lady with a large hat, carved in prestigious antique white statuary marble. A unique work of the highest quality and detail, rendering the subjects face, its clothes and especially the hat to appear as if made of lace which in turns contributes to a great visual impact.This bust was hand-sculpted in Italy and is a work of art belonging to the renowned Fratelli Romanelli sculpture workshop.About Fratelli Romanelli:Several generations of Romanelli sculptors have passed through the Florentine sculpture studios doors: Pasquale Romanelli (1812-1887), his son Raffaello (1856-1928), followed by his son Romano, then Folco and currently brothers Raffaello and Vincenzo Romanelli. The ateliers beginnings trace back to Lorenzo Bartolini (Italian, 1777-1850) who lived in Paris as the Bonaparte familys official sculptor. After the downfall of Napoleon, he returns in Florence and has his first studio in via della Scala. Pasquale Romanelli would become his prized pupil and go on to begin the Romanellii family studio in Florence. T.
