Beautiful faience painting in a wooden frame „Koninklijke Porceleyne Fles”. Hand painting. Made in 1900 by the Royal Delft Company of Delft, the Netherlands. The wall plate is beautifully decorated with an image of a flock of sheep with a shepherd by Anton Mauve.
Anton Mauve - Dutch landscape painter (1838-1888). One of the most frequent subjects in the paintings of A. Mauve was the image of a rural landscape with grazing cows, sheep and horses. Taught watercolor painting to Vincent van Gogh.
