The boulder is finely carved in relief to one side with two deer below a leafy tree in a rocky, mountainous landscape. The reverse is carved with a stepped path leading up to a pavilion that sits above a pine tree and a waterfall that cascades below. The stone is of even milky-white tone with some areas of russet.
