Persian manuscript on gold-speckled and intermittently dyed paper, 45ff. plus two flyleaves, each folio with 11ll. black nasta'liq arranged in two columns, poem headings in red and gold nasta'liq, set within gold and polychrome rules, the margins plain and highly burnished with black and gold outer rule, occasional catchwords in red, f.1b with a gold and polychrome illuminated headpiece, with four full-page illustrations of which three are Safavid and one is Indian, the colophon signed, in Qajar lacquer binding, the doublures painted with flowers
