MARK OF CORNELIUS WYNKOOP, NEW YORK, CIRCA 1720

Slightly tapered cylindrical with molded base band, the flat-domed cover with shaped beak and scroll thumbpiece, the scroll handle with baluster drop and oval disc terminal, engraved with block initials M*H, the underside with later inscription detailing provenance, marked WKC in a heart twice each to left of upper handle terminal, cover, and underside
