THE PORCELAIN KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722), THE STRAPWORK SIDES REGENCE, CIRCA 1725, THE BASE, RIM AND HANDLES LOUIS XVI, LATE 18TH CENTURY
The globular body painted with courtly figures in interiors and terraces, the underside with an artemisia leaf within a double circle, inset with a gadrooned rim and mounted with loop handles over Triton masks, drilled and mounted ormolu grommets in eight places just below the rim
7 ¾ in. (20 cm.) high; 11 in. (28 cm.) wide, over handles
