Concert programme for Just Jazz, Gene Norman’s series of jazz concerts featuring the Charlie Parker Quintet, the Dave Brubeck Quartet, with Chet Baker and Shelly Manne, c.1953, signed and inscribed by Charlie Parker.



Inscribed in blue ballpoint pen on his biography page 'To Fran, Regards, Charlie Parker'. The programme dates to around November 1953 when Parker performed some dates for Gene Norman with a quintet featuring Shelly Manne, Chet Baker, Jimmy Rowles and Carson Smith. Quarto, wire-stitched in original illustrated wraps, 279 x 216 mm.
