A snuff-box modeled as a hen and two chicks on a grassy mound, the cover painted inside and out with loose bouquets, circa 1760, the mounts with the maker's mark N.G.S. probably for Nicolas-Gabriel Saltret and décharge of Eloy Brichard, Paris, 1756-62, 17/8 in. (4.7 cm.) wide

An etui naturalistically modeled as a bunch of asparagus spears tied with brown string, the cover painted inside and out with loose bouquets, circa 1750, the mounts with indistinct marks, 41/4 in. (10.7 cm.) long
