The mixed lot includes, among other things: two prints of Carlsruhe Castle/Upper Silesia, copperplate engraving with a view of Montbeliard, small-format steel engravings of Ludwigshafen on Lake Constance, Benedictine monastery Wiblingen, Royal Rosenstein Castle in Stuttgart, Mariahilf Church Munich, Gmünd, Rechelberg, Schöntal Monastery, Friedrichshafen, Royal Ludwigsburg Castle, Schiller Monument in Stuttgart, Hohenasberg, various Swedish views and others.
Includes an etching, Two Riders with Two Servants in the Landscape, Herman van Swanevelt (Hollstein 105, II/IV) and a copperplate engraving by Adriaen Collaert, from the Parable of the Prodigal Son (cf. Hollstein 190, trimmed, damaged).
Provenienz: estate of Dr. Alexander Eugen, Duke of Württemberg (1933-2024).
