My paintings are abstract in nature and are created anew each time in the process of intuitively following the imagination, in most cases without any preliminary sketches. They are multi-layered surfaces with a rich texture that exposes the underlying layers of paint, with rhythm, direction and a complex color pattern.
When I start my work, I mentally return to a moment of the past, real or imaginary, when I experienced certain emotions. When I relive it within myself, I work on transfering these emotions to the surface of the canvas. This process is akin to meditation, when emotional images splash out on the painting, as if without my conscious participation. A paint stroke is a reflection of a certain feeling. As emotions quickly replace each other, so do paint strokes overlap each other in the process of my work. Starting with some colors and shades, I can finish the work with completely different ones, covering and overlapping each layer many times. But, like the emotions experienced, each stroke leaves its mark on the surface, forming a unique texture.

Marten de Vos (ou Maarten de Vos, ou Maerten de Vos) était un peintre, dessinateur et graphiste néerlandais, doyen de la Guilde d'Anvers.
Après avoir étudié à Rome et à Venise, de Vos retourne à Anvers, sa ville natale, en 1558 et devient l'un des principaux artistes de la ville. Il a créé des images de retables pour de nombreuses églises d'Anvers. Nombre de ses peintures religieuses et historiques ont ensuite été gravées, ce qui l'a rendu célèbre dans toute la Flandre.
De Vos est également le fondateur de la Société des Romanistes, dont les membres sont des artistes et des humanistes célèbres de l'époque qui apprécient la culture humaniste de Rome.

Привет! Меня зовут Виктория. Я журналист из Москвы. Я пишу на общественно-политические темы и по долгу службы сталкиваюсь с разными людскими историями. Какие-то из них радостные и счастливые, другие - полны скорби и несправедливости. Вот почему я так бережно несу через года свое детское увлечение - живопись. Она помогает мне не только перезагрузиться, но и выразить явления, которые иногда описать словами не представляется возможным: бедность, дискриминацию по гендерному и национальному признакам, жестокость правительства, бессилие закона. В стране, в которой журналистам приходится претерпевать гнет со стороны власть имущих, живопись позволяет мне не сдаваться и продолжать делать свою работу.
Hi! My name is Viktoriia. I am a journalist from Moscow, Russia. I work on social and political topics so I meet lot of people’s stories. Some of them are full of pain and injustice. That’s why I did carried through the years my child’s hobby that I want to share with people. Art helps me not only to unload my brain but also to capture social phenomenons that are sometimes hard to describe with words such as: political games, poverty, gender and national discrimination, totalitarian government. Journalists in Russia are now harassed by administration. So art helps me to move on doing my job and not to give up.
