Privately tailored black tricot wool, four-button front, open-collar with black/aluminum twist cord piping, French cuffs, scalloped and pleated breast pockets, scalloped flap hip pockets, silver pebbled buttons, two belt-ramp buttons at rear vent. Red wool armband with black ribbed rayon tape borders, hand-applied to left sleeve. Cuff title of black band with silver-aluminum 7-thread borders, "Oberbayern" hand-embroidered at centre in silver-aluminum thread, machine-applied. 1934 pattern single shoulder board of alternating black/aluminum twist cord on black wool backing, hand-applied and retained with silver pebbled button. Right regimental collar tab with skull and "4" hand-embroidered in silver-aluminum thread on black backing with black/aluminum twist cord piping. Left rank tab with two aluminum pips on black cloth backing with piping in black/aluminum twist cord, both tabs expertly hand-applied. Right sleeve with Honor Chevron of silver-aluminum tresse with two inner black stripes on black backing, hand-applied. Loops for single award on left breast pocket. Lined in black brushed cotton with striped sleeve linings, single inside breast pocket, no markings, or labels. Black tricot wool long pants, piped in white wool down outer seams, three-button hidden fly, hook, and eye top closure, angled slit waist pockets with single button closure, slit watch pocket, rear pocket with single button, adjustable rear waist straps/buckles, ankles with hidden buttons for boot strap attachment. Partially lined in striped rayon and white cotton.
